The Chakra Series is a transformational series of seven afternoon retreats designed and hosted in partnership with Vicki Harrison-Carr of Renaissance Healing and Kerry Coburn, Creative Writing Therapist.
We launched The Chakra Series in 2021 because we wanted to create an affordable and accessible space for women to rest, reflect and reconnect.
Each retreat is a carefully curated afternoon of holistic wellbeing activities for deep relaxation and rejuvenation. We believe strongly in the power and possibility of regular self-care and we felt called to share this with other women.
We work with the energy of the chakras, starting at the Muladhara and working up to the Sahasrara. Each retreat has different content to activate and balance that energy centre and includes a selection of the following activities:
Inclusive and accessible yoga for every body
Pranayama and breath work
Somatic movement and holistic embodiment
Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes
Reiki and energy healing
Guided meditation and visualisation journeying
Sound healing
Aromatherapy and crystal healing
Cacao ceremony
Fire ceremony
Ecstatic dance
Nourish your body with a selection of healthy snacks and herbal teas
A gift bag to take your practice and intentions home with you
... and much more!
"I was fortunate enough to take part in a number of afternoon retreats run by the lovely Women’s Wellbeing Collective. The space offered was established to be extremely holding, non-judgmental and warm, inviting participants to join in at their own pace. The facilitators were all extremely skilled, kind and reassuring - whilst also creating space for humour and levity alongside the reflective opportunities.
Personally I feel grateful to these ladies for offering such a special space, reminding me to offer myself care and compassion (and not just once a month!) and for sharing their wisdom."
